Ola Olani is a Restoring Family Links caseworker at the Northern California Coastal Region. She has been involved with vulnerable populations in different capacities for over 15 years. Her interest and passion is working with refugees, which stems from her personal experience in armed conflict and her own journey as a resettled refugee. She recently co-founded Refugee REACH, a non-profit that aims to is to transform refugee health outcomes through refugee-led research. Ola sits on the Refugee Review Board with the Society of Refugee Healthcare Providers and currently works at Stanford.  She holds a master's in global health sciences. 

Susan Schaefer joined the Restoring Family Links team at national headquarters 15 years ago. In Red Cross she has worked domestically as well as in Nepal, Philippines, Lesotho, Bahamas, Dominica, and Kosovo. She is a member of the Red Cross International Response Roster & Restoring Family Links Specialist Pool.

Michael Chaison is the Head of Restoring Family Links at National Headquarters for the American Red Cross.  He has been with the Red Cross for 29 years in a variety of positions and has had the opportunity to work in Kosovo, Korea, Kuwait, Germany, Turkey, Georgia, California, Arizona and New Mexico
